This hiking route takes you through the scenic area near Mirador de la Costa de Virgos. The trail is 4.022 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 99 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area at the beginning of the trail. About 0.06 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Pont de Sant Joan, a lovely picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Further along the trail, at about 0.78 kilometers in, you will find another parking area for those arriving by car. Around 0.91 kilometers into the hike, there is a campsite called Terreny d'acampada Sant Joan de l'Avellanet, where you can pitch a tent and spend the night. It is advisable to check their website for fees and reservations before your hike.
At 0.66 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across Font de Sant Joan de l'Avellanet, a natural spring where you can refill your water bottle. Finally, at 2.01 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Mirador de la Costa de Virgos, a magnificent viewpoint with stunning views of the surrounding area.
