Welcome to the Örlinger-Tal-Weg hiking route in Ulm! This super easy circular trail spans approximately 1.134 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it an ideal hike for beginners and families.
As you start your journey, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find the Frauenklinik parking area. Further along, you'll encounter the Courtine am Gaisenberg (Werk XX), a historical attraction. About midway through the hike, you'll reach the Festungsweg information point.
Along the trail, you'll also pass by the Örlinger-Tal-Höhle cave entrance and the Gedenken an 2.Weltkrieg memorial. For a quick break, there are benches scattered throughout the route, with some offering scenic views of the surroundings. Make sure to stay hydrated by using the drinking water station located at a distance of 0.32 kilometers from the start.
