This extremely difficult 25.108 km out-and-back hiking route in the area of 6183 offers a challenging experience for avid hikers. With an elevation gain of 1981.0 meters, this route is not for the faint of heart and is estimated to take around 10 hours and 45 minutes to complete.
As you embark on this journey, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. Beginning your trek, you will find a parking area at the trailhead. As you progress, at 2.8 km from the start, you will come across a water source followed by another water spot at 4.27 km. A significant elevation is the Mittertalscharte saddle at 4.92 km from the start.
Further along the trail, at 6.27 km, you will pass by the Alte Bielefelder Hütte archaeological site, adding a touch of history to your hike. The Wörgegratspitze peak stands at 4.8 km from the start, offering a stunning viewpoint for those willing to make the detour. A bench is also available at 0.56 km for a quick rest at the beginning of the trail.
Continuing on, the Hochbrunnachkogel peak awaits at 10.81 km from the start, providing a challenging ascent for experienced hikers. The route also features the Lauser peak at 10.08 km, along with an informational point at Niederreichscharte at 11.02 km.
As you near the end of the trail, a spring is located at 12.17 km, offering a refreshing stop before you make your way back.
