Welcome to the EP-4304 hiking route, a moderate 6.996 kilometers long trail with an elevation gain of 247 meters. The duration of this hike is approximately 2 hours and 14 minutes.

The trail starts at a convenient parking area, allowing hikers to begin their journey with ease. As you progress on the trail, about 3.44 kilometers in, you will come across a water source, ideal for refilling your water bottle and staying hydrated.

At the beginning of the hike, you will pass by Bar A Fonte, where you can take a break and grab a snack if needed. Further along the trail, you will encounter the historic Cruz do Balado, a wayside cross that adds a cultural touch to your hiking experience.

Midway through the hike, you will find O Casqueiro, another bar where you can rest and recharge before continuing your journey. Additionally, Monte das Carballas, an archaeological site, is located 1.22 kilometers from the start of the trail, offering a glimpse into the area's history.

Before completing the circular route, you will also come across an information point, perfect for learning more about the surroundings and the trail itself.
