This hike takes place in a beautiful area with varied points of interest along the way. The route is an out-and-back trail starting at the Gasthaus Steinhof -Pizza Capone- restaurant. The total distance of the hike is approximately 1.447 kilometers with an elevation gain of 35 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking at Am Dechengraben and cross paths with a wayside cross and the Burg Blankenberg castle. Along the way, you will come across a city gate called Grabenturm and several water features. Make sure to stay hydrated, especially on warmer days.
Midway through your hike, you will encounter the Mühle zu Blankenberg restaurant and the Panorama Cafe & Bistro. These are great spots to take a break, enjoy the views, and refuel before continuing on. Towards the end of the trail, you will find benches and viewpoints where you can rest and admire the surroundings.
