This extremely difficult 13.79-kilometer circular hiking route in the Schinder area offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers. With an elevation gain of 898 meters and a duration of approximately 5 hours and 26 minutes, this trail is not for the faint of heart.
The trail starts at a parking lot located at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the path, you will come across various points of interest. At approximately 3.15 kilometers from the start, you will find the Federl Eben wayside shrine, adding a touch of historic significance to your journey.
Around 6.48 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Floning peak, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. Along the way, you will also encounter a bench at 2.49 kilometers from the start, providing a place to rest and take in the scenery.
For those in need of a break, there is a restaurant called Landhotel Hubinger located just 0.01 kilometers off the trail. This is a great spot to refuel and recharge before continuing on your adventure.
