Welcome to the hiking route on D 16! This easy 2.964-kilometer trail offers a relaxing outdoor experience with a total elevation gain of 174.0 meters.

Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you'll embark on your journey through the picturesque surroundings. As you make your way along the trail, approximately 1.48 kilometers from the start, you'll reach a stunning viewpoint where you can pause to take in the breathtaking scenery.

Continuing on, at around 0.71 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the beautiful Cascade de la Goutte des Saules waterfall, adding a touch of serenity to your hike. Just a short distance away, only 0.06 kilometers from the start, you'll find a drinking water source perfect for refilling your water bottle.

For a peaceful break, midway through your hike at approximately 0.03 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the Aire de Méruice picnic site, ideal for enjoying a snack surrounded by nature.

As this is an out-and-back route, you'll retrace your steps on the way back, allowing you to appreciate the sights from a different perspective.
