This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Cimon del Soglio Rosso. The trail spans a distance of 7.864 kilometers and boasts an elevation gain of 1074 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across Ponte Verde, a restaurant just 0.3 kilometers from the start where you can grab a bite to eat before embarking on your journey. As you continue on, you will pass by a drinking water source located right on the trail, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your hike.
Midway through the hike, at around 2.2 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the impressive peak of Campanile di Val Fontana d'Oro. This is a great spot to take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Further along the trail, at 3.93 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Cimon del Soglio Rosso peak itself. This is the ultimate destination of the hike, offering breathtaking vistas and a sense of accomplishment for reaching the summit.
Throughout the hike, you will also pass by various other points of interest such as Bocchetta dell'Uderle, Il Frate peak, and Cascata Brazzavalle waterfall, each adding to the beauty and allure of the route.
