Hiking : Upper Bells Peak

Welcome to the hiking route to Upper Bells Peak, a challenging and rewarding trek in a beautiful area. This out-and-back trail covers a distance of 33.67 kilometers with an elevation gain of 2699 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.

The hike begins at the parking area, located right at the trailhead. Make sure to have plenty of water, snacks, and proper gear before starting. As you venture along the trail, you'll come across School House Springs, a refreshing spring just 0.3 kilometers from the start, where you can rest and refill your water supply.

Continuing on, you'll encounter First Hamongog Peak at 2.66 kilometers from the beginning, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Further along, at 4.72 kilometers, Second Hamongog Peak awaits, providing an excellent opportunity for a break and some memorable photos.

Midway through the hike, at 15.68 kilometers, you'll reach the iconic Lone Peak, a majestic peak that towers over the area. Take your time to enjoy the panoramic vistas before pushing on towards Upper Bells Peak.

As you approach the endpoint, you'll pass by Enniss Peak at 11.96 kilometers, just off the main trail. Finally, at 16.84 kilometers, you'll reach Upper Bells Peak, your ultimate destination. The challenging journey will be worth it as you take in the breathtaking views from the summit.
