This moderate 6.31-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Tuc de la Pale Pouch in the beautiful wilderness of Biros. The trail starts at a convenient parking area, just 0.02 kilometers from the beginning of the route.
As you make your way along the trail, you'll pass by another parking area and a wilderness hut, the Cabane de Bazet - Biros, located 3.11 kilometers from the start, where you can rest and take in the surroundings. Continuing on, you'll reach the Col de Portet d'Aspet, a saddle point 0.04 kilometers off the trail, offering panoramic views of the area.
Along the route, you'll also come across a drinking water source 0.07 kilometers from the start and a campsite, Camping les Asphodèles, located 0.23 kilometers away. Further ahead, you'll encounter the Col de la Bène, another scenic saddle point 1.96 kilometers from the start.
While the Tuc de la Pale Pouch peak is not directly on the trail, it is worth mentioning that it is located 2.83 kilometers from the beginning of the route. Additionally, you'll pass by the Col de l'Artigue, another saddle point 2.78 kilometers from the start, before reaching the Tuc de la Pale Pouch peak at 3.16 kilometers.
This hike features a total elevation gain of 387 meters, so be prepared for some inclines along the way.
