This hiking route will take you through the stunning Barranc de la Vall area. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 8.148 kilometers and an elevation gain of 312 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. The estimated duration for this hike is around 2 hours.
As you start your hike, you will come across a nearby water source for you to refill your water bottle. Along the trail, there is a parking area available for you to leave your vehicle. Approximately 1 kilometer into the hike, you will encounter the historic ruins of Molí de Dins, providing a glimpse into the area's past.
Keep following the trail and you will reach the Font d'en Ribes, a natural spring where you can take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. Another interesting point on the hike is the viewpoint located 4 kilometers from the starting point, offering panoramic views of the area.
As you make your way back, don't forget to visit the cascading waterfall known as Cascada de la Vall, located just 1 kilometer from the starting point. Before concluding your hike, you will also pass by the cave entrance named Balma, adding a sense of adventure to your journey.
