This hiking route near Waldheim is a super easy 1.732-kilometer circular trail with no elevation gain.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Waldheim parking lot just 0.11 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail, at 0.13 kilometers, you will reach the Waldheim restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

As you continue on the trail, at 0.54 kilometers, you will find the Schloßfelsenturm viewpoint and the Schlossfelsen peak offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Nearby, at 0.62 kilometers, is the Hexenküche cave entrance and archaeological site.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter various informational points and benches for resting. Midway through the hike, at 0.76 kilometers, you will reach another viewpoint overlooking the area.
