This hiking route in Schenkstraße is an easy out-and-back trail that spans approximately 2.4 kilometers with no elevation gain. The trail starts at Kaufpark Oberlausitz parking area. As you begin your hike, you'll pass by a spring located midway at 0.68 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, about 1 kilometer from the start, you'll reach the peak known as Schülerberg, offering a great viewpoint to take in the surrounding scenery.

Throughout the hike, you'll also come across several benches for resting and enjoying the views. Additionally, there are some historic ruins located about 1.2 kilometers from the start of the trail. At the turnaround point, about 1.2 kilometers into the hike, you'll find more benches to relax before heading back.
