As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the adventure. About 0.04 kilometers into the hike, you will find an information point providing insights about the area.

Further along the trail, approximately 2.19 kilometers from the start, La Baraque Carrée shelter awaits for a rest stop, offering a nice spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. As you continue, you will encounter the Ancient German WW2 Military Cemetery and the Border Stone marking the Alsace-Lorraine boundary.

Midway through the hike, at a distance of 3.01 kilometers from the start, the peak known as Tête de Mort stands tall, rewarding you with stunning panoramic views as a perfect turnaround point before heading back.

Throughout the trail, you will find benches strategically placed for moments of relaxation and taking in the beauty of the surroundings. Remember to bring enough water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before setting off on this adventure.
