This extremely difficult 14.381-kilometer out-and-back hiking route to Puig Sesarques offers a challenging adventure in the beautiful natural surroundings. The trail starts at a parking area and quickly takes you to the Collet de cal Negre saddle, located 4.39 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. From there, you will continue on to the peak of Puig Sesarques, situated 7.19 kilometers into the hike, offering stunning panoramic views.
As you trek further, you will encounter the Collet de Pujarnol saddle at 3.65 kilometers from the start, providing a tranquil resting spot along the way. Additionally, the Comaestremer peak, located 7 kilometers into the hike, offers a rewarding challenge for hikers.
Throughout the hike, you will come across various natural springs, such as Bassa de Can Llandric at 0.72 kilometers, Bassa de Can Nierga at 1.7 kilometers, and Font de Can Roqueta at 3.14 kilometers from the start, providing fresh water sources for hikers.
It's important to note that some points of interest, such as Comaestremer peak and Font de Roure Gros, are slightly off the main trail, so extra caution is advised if you choose to explore these areas.
