Welcome to the Sentier Littoral hiking route! This 8.221-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a challenging but rewarding experience for hikers.

Located in a scenic area with beautiful beaches and viewpoints, the trail begins at a parking area and takes you through various points of interest.

As you start your hike, you'll pass by the Plage des Douanes, a picturesque beach located 1.1 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the trail at 1.83 kilometers, you'll come across the Plage de Briande, another stunning beach for you to explore.

For those who enjoy scenic views, be sure to stop by the Point de vue de Taillât at 3.66 kilometers from the start, and Cap Lardier at 4.11 kilometers. These viewpoints offer breathtaking sights of the surrounding landscape.

If you're interested in learning more about the area, informational points like the ones at 3.08 kilometers and 3.12 kilometers provide insights into the local environment and history.

Throughout the hike, be prepared for a total elevation gain of 36 meters and a duration of around 2 hours. The trail may be difficult due to its length and elevation, so make sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
