This hiking route takes you along the picturesque Fontanka River embankment in St. Petersburg, Russia. The trail is super easy, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.
As you start the trail, you will come across a parking area just 150 meters from the beginning. Further along the trail, at about 530 meters in, there is a water source. There are several benches along the trail where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views of the river.
About 340 meters into the hike, you will find the memorial of G. R. Derzhavin, a historic figure. Nearby, at 380 meters, there is a cafe called Oranzhereya where you can stop for a snack.
At the 450-meter mark, you will come across more benches for resting. If you feel hungry, there are various dining options nearby, including a fast-food joint, a restaurant called Sytin, and Tequila-Boom.
Towards the end of the trail, around 380 meters, you will spot the artwork "Petersburg Angel." If you wish to grab a bite after the hike, there are cafes and restaurants like Pastila, Mustang, Sea Paradise, and Karavan in the vicinity.
