This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area surrounding Puig de Sant Miquel. The trail is 3.511 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 236 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The total duration of the hike is approximately 1 hour and 24 minutes.
As you start your journey, you will come across El Castell de Rubió, a wheelchair-accessible restaurant located right by the trail. It's a great spot to grab a bite to eat before continuing your hike. Further along the trail, you will find Castell d'Ardesa, the ruins of an ancient castle, situated about 1.76 kilometers from the starting point.
At the midpoint of the hike, you will reach Puig de Sant Miquel, a peak offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. This is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery before heading back.
Along the way back, you will pass by other points of interest such as a wayside cross and a cave entrance. Make sure to stay hydrated by refilling your water bottle at the drinking water point located 0.08 kilometers from the start.
