Located in a scenic area, the hiking route to Moosturm offers a moderate challenge with a distance of 4.673 kilometers and an elevation gain of 263 meters. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading you to the mesmerizing Moosturm viewpoint.
Starting your journey, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Mooswald parking area, where you can safely leave your vehicle. As you continue, about halfway through, you will come across the Lotharbrunnen, providing a refreshing spot to refill your water bottle.
Further along the trail, at around 2.34 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Mooskopf peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to stop at Mooswald Parkplatz for some information about the area before heading towards the Moosturm viewpoint, located at the end of the trail.
