Welcome to the hiking route to Ma'aleh Tzalim in the Tamar Regional Council area. This 17.718-kilometer route is considered extremely difficult, with an elevation gain of 339 meters, so make sure you are well-prepared for this challenging adventure.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located near the trail. It is just 18.656 meters away, providing easy access for hikers. As you continue, about 1.43 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a memorial, offering a moment of reflection and historical significance.

Around the 7.01-kilometer mark, you will find a campsite known as "חניון לילה נחל צאלים," providing a resting place for tired hikers. This will be a good spot to take a break and recharge before continuing your trek.

At the 8.86-kilometer mark, there is a viewpoint where you can pause and take in the breathtaking scenery around you. It's a perfect opportunity to capture some scenic photos and admire the beauty of the area.

As you approach the end of the trail, you'll reach another campsite called "חניון לילה נחל משמר." This campsite offers amenities and a website for more information, making it a great place to stay overnight if you wish to extend your adventure.
