Welcome to the Molenbeekpad trail in Leuven! This hiking route is a super easy out-and-back trail, spanning approximately 1.4 kilometers with no elevation gain.
As you start your journey, you'll come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a water source just 0.59 kilometers from the start, followed by another water point at the 0.72 kilometer mark.
For those driving to the trailhead, there are two parking options available. "P1" parking lot is located right at the beginning of the trail, while "P2" parking lot is situated 0.72 kilometers from the start. Both parking lots have a fee for usage.
As you venture further along the trail, you'll encounter a shelter at the 0.49 kilometer mark and a fast-food joint called "De Kiosk" at the 0.49 kilometer mark as well. Another fast-food option, "Frituur Vlinder," is located at the 0.45 kilometer mark.
