This extremely difficult circular hiking route begins at Walegg-Oberfeld (Walenpfad) and offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for experienced hikers. The trail covers a distance of 13.206 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1101 meters, taking approximately 5 hours and 48 minutes to complete.
The route takes you through diverse landscapes, starting with a steep climb that rewards you with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking options for your convenience. As you continue, make sure to stop by Berggasthaus Bannalpsee, a mountain hut where you can refuel and rest before continuing your journey.
