Starting at an elevation of 898 meters, you'll begin your journey at the parking area near Oberfeld. From here, you'll follow the well-marked trail through the scenic surroundings. As you hike, you'll come across several information points providing insights into the local area, including the namesake Oberfeld and Fell.

About 2 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the views. Further along the trail, at a distance of 3 kilometers, you'll encounter a restaurant named Oberfeld, offering a delightful dining option for hikers.

As you continue your ascent, you'll reach Berggasthaus Bannalpsee at the 4-kilometer mark, where you can enjoy a meal or even stay overnight in this alpine hut. The trail will lead you past drinking water points and more information points until you reach Bannalpsee at the 4-kilometer mark, providing a picturesque spot to take in the views.

At a distance of 6 kilometers, you'll come across a viewpoint where you can admire the breathtaking scenery before making your way back towards the starting point. The entire route covers a distance of 13.2 kilometers and involves an elevation gain of 1067 meters.

Due to the length and elevation gain of the hike, it is recommended that hikers bring plenty of water, snacks, and wear appropriate footwear. Additionally, it's always a good idea to check the weather forecast before embarking on the journey.
