Located in Karlsruhe, the Burgweg hiking route offers a super easy and leisurely hike with a distance of 0.72 kilometers and an elevation gain of 35 meters. The route is an out-and-back trail, beginning at the parking area just 0.02 kilometers away from the start.

As you start your journey, you will pass by the parking area before reaching a wheelchair-accessible bench at the beginning of the trail. Further along the route, about 0.29 kilometers from the start, you will find another bench for a quick rest. As you continue hiking, at about 0.36 kilometers from the start, you will come across an information point named "Wolfartsweier Am Zündhütle."

Midway through the trail, at 0.36 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a viewpoint offering scenic views of the surrounding area. Towards the end of the trail, around 0.3 kilometers from the start, you will find the Friederich-Stein memorial. The shelter is located close to the start and will provide a nice spot to relax before heading back.
