This extremely difficult circular hiking route will take you on a challenging adventure through the stunning area surrounding Punta Cornour. With a total distance of 19.776 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1586 meters, this trail is not for the faint of heart.

As you embark on this journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a water source, around 110 meters away. It is advisable to fill up your water bottles here before proceeding further.

Approximately 1.73 kilometers into the hike, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle. Further along, at 6.57 kilometers from the start, you will reach Col Giulian, a scenic saddle where you can take a break and enjoy breathtaking views.

Continuing on, at 9.79 kilometers, you will reach the majestic peak of Punta Cornour. Take some time to soak in the panoramic views from this vantage point before continuing your trek.

Along the way, you will also encounter multiple drinking water sources to replenish your supplies. Keep in mind to stay hydrated throughout the hike, especially considering its difficulty level.

As you make your way back, around 8.53 kilometers from the start, you will pass by Colle Rousset, another picturesque saddle along the trail. Additionally, informational signage can be found at various points along the route, providing valuable insights into the surrounding landscape.

Before embarking on this challenging hike, make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and essential hiking gear. It is also recommended to check the weather forecast beforehand and dress accordingly.
