Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Castello!

Situated in a picturesque area, this moderate 5.111-kilometer out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a moderate elevation gain of 418 meters.

As you start your journey, you'll come across some convenient parking areas to leave your vehicle before setting off. Along the way, you'll encounter various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find "Ca del Frate," a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat before or after your hike.

Heading further along the route, you'll pass by "Monte Zuccarello," a peak offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. For history enthusiasts, don't miss the "Castrum Rapallinum" ruins, a historic site dating back to ancient times.

Midway through your hike, you'll reach "Monte Castello," another peak where you can soak in breathtaking views of the area. Near the peak, you'll find a spring for a refreshing drink of water and a wayside shrine for a moment of reflection.

Before heading back, make sure to stop by the "Le due Querce" restaurant to refuel and enjoy a meal with a view. As you trek back to the starting point, take in the vista from the "Le 2 Querce" viewpoint for one last memorable moment.
