Welcome to the Fonllech Hir hiking route! This circular route offers a 4.409-kilometer journey through stunning natural landscapes with a total elevation gain of 139 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all levels of hikers.

At the beginning of the trail, you will come across the Harlech Castle Visitor Centre and As.Is Bistro, providing a perfect opportunity to grab a snack or learn more about the area's history. As you continue along the path, you'll also find various amenities such as The Castle Creamery, Castle Cottage, and Harlech Tandoori, ideal for a meal or refreshment stop.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach a campsite where you can take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. Further along the trail, you'll come across the stunning Baptism Well and other natural water sources, perfect for a quick rest and a refill of your water bottle.

The route also features convenient parking areas at the beginning and various benches scattered along the trail for a moment of relaxation. Additionally, information points and facilities like Cemlyn Tea Shop and Bwtri Bach Cafe offer a chance to gather more information about the area and indulge in local delicacies.
