This extremely difficult 13.237-kilometer out-and-back hiking route to Leitenkogel offers a challenging trek through beautiful natural landscapes. The trail starts at a parking area located right at the beginning of the route. As you begin your journey, you'll come across the Lindlingalm restaurant and alpine hut just 0.03 kilometers from the start, where you can grab a bite to eat or rest for a bit.

As you continue on the trail, you'll pass by the Schlaberstatt peak at 4.42 kilometers from the start, providing stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Keep trekking, and you'll reach the Schusterscharte saddle at 3.4 kilometers from the start, offering a unique and picturesque spot to take in the scenery.

Further along the route, you'll encounter the Leitenscharte saddle and the Hochseilgarten climbing area at 6.46 kilometers from the start. These points provide a great opportunity to test your climbing skills and challenge yourself along the trail.
