This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Via della Sambuca in Livorno, offering stunning views of Monte Serra and the Pisan plain. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling 4.658 kilometers with an elevation gain of 170 meters, making it an easy route suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across the ruins of Fornace del Corbolone, a historic site located 1.11 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will also find several picnic sites where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.

At around 2.33 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a peak that offers a panoramic view of Livorno. This spot is perfect for taking in the picturesque scenery and capturing some memorable photos.

As you continue on, you will encounter a viewpoint overlooking Monte Serra and the Pisan plain, located 2.22 kilometers from the start of the trail. This viewpoint provides a breathtaking vista that is worth the hike.

For a refreshing break, there is a spring approximately 1.67 kilometers from the starting point where you can replenish your water supply.
