Welcome to the Donkerwegel hiking route! This super easy circular trail covers a distance of 1.79 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all levels.

Starting off the trail, you will come across a shelter just 36 meters from the trail, providing a convenient resting spot or protection from the elements. As you continue, about halfway through the hike at 0.49 kilometers, you will find a natural water source where you can refill your water bottles and rehydrate.

As you near the end of the route at 0.8 kilometers, there is another water source available, located 134 meters off the trail. Just before completing the loop, you will pass by a parking area at the 0.8-kilometer mark, offering a convenient spot to start and end your hiking journey.

For a pleasant break or post-hike refreshment, De Smesse cafe is located right next to the trail at the beginning, providing a cozy spot to relax and grab a bite to eat.
