This hiking route takes you through the scenic Choralpe area, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The trail is 6.124 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 611 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Alte Mittelstation restaurant just 0.05 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat before continuing on your hike. Further along, at 0.74 kilometers from the start, you will find the Sonnalm restaurant, another option for a meal or refreshments.

Along the trail, you will also pass by the Große Runde information point at 0.31 kilometers and another information point at 0.28 kilometers. These are great opportunities to learn more about the area and its surroundings.

At around 3.06 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Choralpe North, a popular takeoff site for free flying enthusiasts. This is a great spot to watch them soar through the sky and take in the panoramic views of the landscape.

With a duration of approximately 2 hours and 56 minutes, this hike is best attempted by experienced hikers. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen, as well as to check the weather forecast before embarking on your adventure.
