Welcome to the hiking route to Il Ferà! This challenging trail spans a distance of 9.652 kilometers with an elevation gain of 913 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek for experienced hikers.

Starting at Piazza G. Lanteri, you will embark on this out-and-back route surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest that add to the allure of the hike.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by convenient parking areas, including one that is a mere 0.14 kilometers from the start. A bit further along the trail, at 0.1 kilometers from the start, you will find Rifugio La Porta del Sole, an alpine hut that offers a cozy retreat for hikers.

Around the 1.27 kilometer mark, you will reach a viewpoint that provides a breathtaking perspective of the landscape. As you continue on, you will encounter drinking water stations, benches for resting, and even a restaurant called Locanda d'Upega offering a chance to refuel.

Midway through the trek, at 4.61 kilometers from the start, you will arrive at Colletto del Ferà, a picturesque saddle point along the trail. Further ahead, at 4.83 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Il Ferà, named "Il Ferà," offering panoramic views that make the strenuous ascent worthwhile.

Along the trail, you will also come across points of interest such as Rocca del Ferà, Dente di Carnino, and Cima del Caplet, each adding to the allure of the route.
