This hiking route will take you to Monte Calvo, a beautiful destination with stunning views and natural attractions.

Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, make sure to grab some water from the nearby drinking water points before you begin your adventure. The trail starts gently as you make your way towards Monte Calvo, with the first point of interest being the peak itself, located 2 kilometers into the hike. Enjoy the panoramic views from the top before continuing on.

As you hike further along, you will come across the Bus del Canon cave entrance, another 2 kilometers from the peak. Take some time to explore the cave and marvel at the rock formations inside.

Continue on the trail and you will reach a viewpoint named after Monte Calvo, offering spectacular views of the surrounding area. This is a great spot to take a break and soak in the scenery.

Along the way, you will also pass by springs like Acquedotto delle Sode and Acquedotto Val del Foo, where you can refill your water bottles and rest for a bit.

Before heading back, visit the Maregiat viewpoint for one last look at the amazing landscape.

This out-and-back route covers a distance of 5.391 kilometers with an elevation gain of 388 meters. The hike is of moderate difficulty due to the length and elevation gain, so make sure to pace yourself accordingly.
