Welcome to the hiking route to Ma'aleh Dkalim in the Ramat Negev Regional Council area. This challenging out-and-back trail spans approximately 9.8 kilometers in length with an elevation gain of 210 meters, taking around 2 hours and 47 minutes to complete.
Starting off at the Ein Saharonim Day Parking Lot, you'll have the opportunity to explore the ruins of Matzad Saharonim and Ein Saharonim Spring just a short distance from the beginning of the trail. These historical and natural landmarks provide a glimpse into the area's past and offer a serene setting to kick off your hike.
As you continue along the trail, be sure to make a stop at the Karbuelt Hararim peak, located approximately 3.7 kilometers from the starting point. This natural peak provides a stunning vantage point to take in the surrounding landscape and enjoy a well-deserved rest before heading back.
Midway through your journey, you'll come across the Ein Saharonim Viewpoint, situated about 4.9 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This scenic overlook offers panoramic views of the region, making it the perfect spot to pause and soak in the beauty of the desert terrain.
