Hiking : Monte Dragoncello

This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Monte Dragoncello. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 5.704 kilometers and an elevation gain of 201 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.

As you begin your hike, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting the trail. Along the way, you will pass by Casina Ecia, a historic ruin located 2.21 kilometers from the start of the hike. Further along, at a distance of 2.77 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Monte Dragoncello, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

During your hike, you will also pass by Sella delle Casine Ece, a natural saddle located 2.12 kilometers from the start. Make sure to stop by the wayside shrine of La Madona de La Casina Ecia, located at the same distance, to take in the cultural significance of the area.

If you need a break, there is a restaurant called Trattoria Valpiana 0.05 kilometers from the start of the hike, where you can refuel and rest before continuing on. Additionally, there are benches along the trail where you can sit and enjoy the serene surroundings.
