This extremely difficult 13.5 km out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Valaraz peak. The trail starts at a parking area and quickly leads you to a drinking water point, just 0.06 km from the start, where you can fill up your water bottle before the challenging ascent.

As you continue on the trail, at around 5.32 km from the start, you will come across the Forcella Pongol saddle, a perfect spot to catch your breath and take in the surrounding natural beauty. Further ahead, at 5.32 km from the start, you will find the wilderness hut called Bait de Folega, where you can rest and refuel before continuing your journey.

At 5.84 km from the start, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area and its history. Finally, at 6.75 km from the start, you will reach the highlight of the hike - the Valaraz peak. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness from this vantage point before heading back the way you came.

With an elevation gain of 1517 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
