This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an out-and-back journey to the peak of Valaraz. Starting at Forcella Pongol, the trail spans 13.503 kilometers in distance with an elevation gain of 1517 meters.

As you begin your hike, you'll find a parking area conveniently located at the trailhead. Along the way, at approximately 5.32 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the wilderness hut Bait de Folega where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. Further ahead, at the 5.84 kilometer mark, an information point will provide you with insights about the area.

During your ascent, you will reach the peak of Valaraz at 6.75 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking panoramic views as a reward for your effort. Additionally, there is a saddle named Forcella Pongol at the midway point of the trail, adding a unique feature to your hike.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable trek, remember to bring an adequate water supply, as the trail provides a drinking water station at 0.06 kilometers from the start. Additionally, it's advisable to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging journey.
