This hike takes you through a challenging terrain with a total distance of 12.423 kilometers and an elevation gain of 908 meters, making it an extremely difficult route.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the journey. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by a wayside cross marking a historic point of interest at 2.91 kilometers from the start. Continuing onwards, you will reach Porta Manazzo, a saddle point located at 2.9 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
Around the midway point, at 4.83 kilometers from the start, you will find Rifugio Larici da Alessio, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy a meal. Nearby, there is also a water source located at 3.2 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing stop along the way.
Further along the trail, you will encounter Rifugio Val Formica, another alpine hut located at 4.36 kilometers from the start. As you continue your journey, you will pass by Bivio di Malga Larici, where you can find informative signage regarding the area at 5.49 kilometers from the start.
