This hiking route takes you on a 7.285-kilometer circular trail to Monte Bernard, offering stunning views and a challenging terrain. The hike has an elevation gain of 684 meters and is considered difficult due to its length and elevation.
Starting at Piazza Michele Galetto, you will embark on your journey with a parking area nearby to leave your vehicle. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across a drinking water station just at the beginning of the hike, where you can fill up your water bottles to stay hydrated.
About 2.25 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Costa Bella, an information point that provides insight into the surrounding area. Continuing on, at around 3.59 kilometers, you will encounter Monte Bernard, a peak offering panoramic views of the landscape.
For a quick break, there is a shelter located 2.29 kilometers into the hike, providing a rest spot for tired hikers. As you near the end of the trail, approximately 0.78 kilometers from the start, you will find another information point at a scenic spot to learn more about the area.
Before completing the hike, you can stop at Il Ritrovo, a restaurant with outdoor seating, to grab a bite to eat and relax after your trek. Finally, as you make your way back to the starting point, there is a parking area conveniently located 0.64 kilometers away to end your hiking adventure.
