MENDITALDE

This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is 8.611 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 541 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes to complete.

You will start your journey at a parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way, you will come across a drinking water station just 0.11 kilometers from the start, so make sure to fill up your water bottle here.

About midway through the hike, at 4.31 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Mairubaratzeta, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Along the trail, you will also pass by another peak called Zipuru (Gurutzeko Gaina) at 2.66 kilometers from the start, and various information points with interesting facts about the area.

As you trek back, be sure to stop by the monument located 2.57 kilometers from the start to learn more about the history of the area.
