Welcome to the Elbleitenweg hiking route!
The Elbleitenweg is a super easy 1.974 km out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 71.0 meters, making it perfect for beginners or those looking for a leisurely walk in nature. The total duration of the hike is around 38 minutes, but feel free to take your time and enjoy the surroundings.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll notice a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across various points of interest such as the Falkenstein peak, Rübezahl peak, and Schießgrundscheibe peak, each offering unique climbing opportunities and stunning views. These peaks are located at different points along the trail, so you can choose to visit them on your way out or on the way back.

About midway through the hike, you'll encounter the Zahnsgrundwächter peak and the Zahnsgrund / Abzweig Schießgrund information point, providing insights into the surrounding natural beauty. Additionally, there are shelters like the Boofe an der Westseite des hohen Torsteins and the Boofe am Falkenstein-Knabe for resting and enjoying a snack.

As you near the end of the trail, make sure to visit the various viewpoints scattered along the route, offering panoramic views of the landscape. The Elbleitenweg / Hintere Promenade and Elbleitenweg / Abzw. Schießgrund (Falkenstein) information points can also provide valuable information about the area.
