This challenging hike takes you to the stunning Hahnenkamm area, known for its beautiful landscapes and picturesque views. The route is an out-and-back type, totaling 9.17 kilometers in distance with an elevation gain of 872 meters, making it a difficult trail suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a shelter at the beginning of the trail, providing a nice resting spot for hikers. Further along the route, approximately 3.88 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source to refill your supplies. A bit farther, at 4.31 kilometers, an information point can offer valuable insights into the area.
Around the halfway point, at 4.47 kilometers, you will encounter the Hocheckhütte, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy a meal while admiring the surroundings. At 4.54 kilometers, Hochkitzbühel restaurant provides another dining option for hikers.
