Italy Trentino – Alto Adige/Südtirol South Tyrol

This challenging 8.45-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with stunning views and historical points of interest. The trail starts at a parking area and leads you 2.03 kilometers in to explore some ancient ruins. These ruins offer a fascinating glimpse into the area's history and are a great spot for photos.

As you continue on the trail, around the 3.78-kilometer mark, you'll come across a refreshing water source where you can take a break and refill your water bottle. Around the 1.55-kilometer mark, there is an information point where you can learn more about the flora, fauna, and history of the area.

For a well-deserved rest, at the beginning or end of your hike (depending on your chosen direction), you can visit the Gasthaus Unteröberst restaurant located right by the trail. This is the perfect spot to refuel with some local cuisine.

Throughout the hike, you'll also come across benches where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the surroundings. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sun protection as this route has an elevation gain of 711.0 meters and can be quite strenuous. Be sure to check the weather forecast before setting out, and wear appropriate footwear.

As you make your way back to the starting point, take in the majestic views and enjoy the sense of accomplishment from completing this challenging and rewarding hike.
