This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning landscapes and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting and ending at the Gîte Crête de la Marianne.

As you begin your hike, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, there is a convenient parking area for your vehicle. Further along, at around 6.44 kilometers into the hike, you will find an information point that offers insights about the area.

Approximately 6.33 kilometers into the hike, there is a drinking water station where you can refill your water bottles. If you need a rest or plan to camp overnight, La Bonne Terre campsite is located at 5.47 kilometers from the start of the trail.

Additionally, there are various amenities available such as a cafe named Bar l’Escale at 6.18 kilometers, a shelter at the same distance, and a wayside shrine at 4.93 kilometers. Information points are scattered throughout the trail, providing valuable knowledge about the surroundings.

For a refreshing break, a spring named Eau is located at 4.7 kilometers from the starting point. More drinking water can be found at 6.16 kilometers and 6.16 kilometers into the hike.

Along the trail, you will encounter several viewpoints such as Bord Bazar at 5.02 kilometers, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Another viewpoint is located at 5.1 kilometers, providing a perfect spot to rest and take in the scenery.

This route covers a distance of 12.988 kilometers with an elevation gain of 806.0 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike. It is important to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, proper hiking gear, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure.
