This extremely difficult 11.229-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the breathtaking area of Pizzo Alto. With an elevation gain of 1463 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across the Püzz da Morosèe, a beautiful natural water feature, 2.95 kilometers into the hike. As you continue along the trail, at 5.41 kilometers, you will reach the Porta di Pizzo Alto, a saddle offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Midway through the hike at 5.53 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Pizzo Alto, offering panoramic views of the area. Make sure to take in the breathtaking scenery before continuing on your journey.
Along the way, you will also pass by the Ristoro Alpe Premaniga at 2.49 kilometers and the Cappella di Premaniga at 2.29 kilometers, where you can rest and refuel before continuing your ascent.
Throughout the hike, you will find drinking water sources at various points along the trail, so make sure to stay hydrated. Additionally, it is essential to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike and to come prepared with plenty of water and snacks.
As you near the end of the hike, at 4.43 kilometers, you will come across the Fontanìin de Saš Müs'c, a refreshing natural spring where you can replenish your water supply.
