Welcome to the hiking route to Pic de la Belle Étoile in the beautiful area surrounding the South Face of the peak. This challenging 11.5-kilometer trail will take you on an adventure through diverse landscapes and stunning views.

Starting at the trailhead, you will find parking available right at the beginning of the route. As you embark on your journey, about 5.75 kilometers into the hike, you will come across multiple water sources where you can replenish your supplies and enjoy a refreshing break.

At around 5.13 kilometers into the trail, you will reach the majestic Pic de la Belle Étoile, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. This peak is a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the region and snap some memorable photos.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 0.81 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Rose des Prés information point. Here, you can learn more about the local flora and fauna, adding an educational element to your hike.

Along the way, you may also come across the Le SainBioz restaurant (located off-trail), where you can refuel with delicious meals before or after your adventure.

Please note that this is an extremely difficult hike with a significant elevation gain of 1415 meters. We recommend bringing plenty of water, snacks, and a map of the area.
