This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Ljubljana, Slovenia. The trail is a super easy out-and-back route with a total distance of 0.54 kilometers and no elevation gain.
As you start your hike, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a zoo where you can see various animals such as asiatic elephants, brown bears, and chimpanzees. Further along the trail, you will pass by a picturesque pond called Ribnik and encounter attractions like the Canadian wolf, lion, and giraffe.
If you continue on, you will also see water features like the California sea lion pool and various other attractions like the Siberian tiger, cheetah, and red kangaroo. At the turnaround point of the hike, you will find a variety of additional attractions including the Indian hedgehog, meerkat, and rose pelican.
Throughout the hike, there are convenient parking areas available as well as a cafe for refreshments. Be sure to bring plenty of water, as the trail is relatively short but offers many opportunities to stop and explore the various attractions.
