This hiking route in the Feldleitengasse area is a super easy out-and-back trail covering a distance of approximately 1.131 kilometers with an elevation gain of 40 meters. The total duration for this hike is about 21 minutes and 42 seconds.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Römerkeller restaurant and a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Further along the path, at around 550 meters from the start, you will spot the Wetterkreuz wayside cross.

Midway through the trail at 570 meters from the start, you will find the Picknickplatz am Fragnerplatzl picnic site, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy some snacks. Additionally, you will come across benches at 560 and 550 meters from the start for resting purposes.

As you continue on, you will encounter the Franz Josef memorial and a viewpoint offering stunning scenery. Do note that there is a wayside shrine and a bench not directly on the trail, but nearby for your convenience.

Although this is a short and easy hike, it is always important to bring an adequate supply of water, wear proper hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on the journey. Enjoy the serene surroundings and historical points of interest along the way.
