This challenging hiking route in the Gummen area is a 7.9 km circular trail with an elevation gain of 316 meters, taking approximately 2 hours and 37 minutes to complete. The trail starts at the parking area, where you can find information about the area at the Ächerli information point.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by Langboden, a picnic site with BBQ facilities, about 1.2 km into the hike. Further along the trail, at the 1.35 km mark, you will come across Langbodästübli restaurant for a quick break or meal. The trail continues towards Gummenalp, where you can find another restaurant to refuel at the 3.47 km mark.

Midway through the hike at around 2.84 km, there is a BBQ spot in case you want to enjoy a meal in the great outdoors. At the peak of Gummen, which is at the 3.85 km mark, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. On the way back, you will find Gummenalp shelter at the 2.01 km mark, offering a rest stop along the trail.
