Welcome to the Totholzpfad hiking route, a super easy trail located in a beautiful area.
As you start your journey, you'll come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. This is a convenient spot to leave your vehicle before embarking on the adventure.
About 0.05 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a bench where you can take a moment to rest and take in the surroundings. Further along, at around 0.32 kilometers, there is a shelter called "Parapluie" where you can seek refuge if needed. Nearby, there is also a viewpoint offering stunning vistas of the landscape.
At 0.01 kilometers from the start, you'll find a parking area and a restaurant called Ristorante Pizzeria Bella Calabria. This is a great place to grab a bite to eat before or after your hike.
As you continue on the trail, at around 0.31 kilometers, you'll come across the wayside shrine of Hl. Maria Patrona Bavariae, a historic site worth exploring.
It's essential to bring an ample water supply and check the weather forecast before setting out on this short 0.63-kilometer hike with no elevation gain. The trail is perfect for beginners or those looking for a leisurely walk in nature.
