Welcome to the Gaisberg hiking route in Salzburg! This moderate 4.99-kilometer circular trail offers stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way.

At the beginning of the hike, you will come across a parking area followed by a memorial called Kriegerdenkmal. This is a great spot to pause and reflect before continuing on the trail.

As you make your way further, you will pass by the Hexenloch cave entrance, offering a unique natural attraction to explore. Nearby, you'll find the Gilowskyhöhle cave entrance, adding to the adventure of the hike.

Midway through the trail, you will reach a viewpoint called Kanzel, where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding area. Don't forget to visit the Schloss Aigen castle, a historic site that offers a glimpse into the region's past.

Towards the end of the hike, you can enjoy a break at Gasthof Schloss Aigen, a restaurant where you can refuel before completing the loop.
