This hiking route takes you to the stunning Col della Galvana area, known for its beautiful mountain scenery and diverse wildlife. The trail is 8.086 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 523 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

At the beginning of the hike, you will pass by a parking area, perfect for leaving your vehicle before starting the trek. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across a wilderness hut called Ricovero Casera Galvana, located 3.24 kilometers from the start. This cozy shelter offers a nice resting spot and a chance to enjoy the surrounding nature.

Further along the route, about 3.39 kilometers from the beginning, you will find the majestic Forcella Val de la Forscia, a saddle with breathtaking views of the valley below. This is a great spot to take in the scenery and have a snack before continuing your journey.

Midway through the hike, at around 4.04 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Rifugio Casera Mela, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel. The hut is not directly on the trail but is worth the extra distance for its cozy atmosphere and amenities.

Towards the end of the hike, at the 8.086-kilometer mark, you will reach the Col della Galvana peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Take some time to soak in the beauty of the area before heading back the way you came.

As this is a challenging hike, it is important to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
